We are Two Paws Above and wanted to introduce ourselves! My name is Katherine and I have been happily married for 7 years to my sweet husband, Daniel. We have 4 beautiful children and 2 fur babies. We live in a small town in North Carolina and started entertaining the idea of breeding Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs 3 years ago. We chose Swissies due to how great they are with families, especially kids. They are energetic, gentle, affectionate, and playful; our kids can attest to that! Swissies form strong bonds and are very protective as you can see in the picture of our dog Leia looking over our youngest earlier this year.

Our dog Leia is 2 years old as of August 2025 and has been a great addition to our family. She is sweet, stubborn, and silly. She is so good with all of our kids and enjoys playing with them. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog!
